We head into week two of the Championship Matchup, with Joel training Seif, 115.28-95.60.
This will most certainly be a never forgotten moment in league history, as Joel earned himself a shotgun, while starting an injured Jalen Hurts at QB. However, he’s only down 20 and still has a puncher’s chance!
What to watch for? 1. Will Hurts play? Obvious one to start. If so, Joel’s got a good chance, if not, who will Joel roll the dice with this weekend? 2. Will Ekeler play? He’s banged up and typically finds his way to play, but with the should-be soft matchup with the Rams, will the Chargers get the ball to their other playmakers who somehow are all healthy? 3. What’s DeVante’s week look like with BFF and total fucking loser, Derek Carr, out this week? Could he quietly quit the next two games? 4. Dobbins vs. Pittsburgh - these games are usually slobernockers, and I can totally see Dobbins getting good volume, but he seems TD dependent in PPR, and who gets the Raven’s goal line work (any week)? 5. After a few slow weeks, Waddle’s back to torch the world. Can he do it again with Teddy Two Gloves?
Prediction Jalen suits up, but the Eagles lean on their running backs more in the running game. Ekeler suits up and goes about his normal business. This comes down to CMC’s huge week against the Raiders and Adams caring or not. Solid weeks from Conner, Watson and Engram help Joel pull out the narrowest of victories, putting an end to Seif’s hopeful third ring.
Slutler watch Tony is the Slutler lol, we don’t need this next week.
