Power Rankings (Week 7)

Updated 2022-10-23

Well - ClickUp isn’t letting me add pictures today, so just picture CMC in a Niners jersey here.

Another week, another banger of a trade with Neil and I mixing it up, Barkley for Jefferson and a variety of others. PJ also gets Mahomes back after a short stint in Kris town, and Kris’ return immediately pays off with Nuk going for 20 on TNF. Fun week so far!

Waiver Wire Wizard - Andy goes all in with Drake ($24 - no other bids) and Aiyuk ($23), fully emptying his wallet. ZJs for FAAB$ are coming soon for the big fella.

Matchup of the Week - Show Me the Mooney (3-3) vs. Sweet Brotha Numpsay (5-1) - Top two scorers meet this week, and the projection reflects it. Hope this comes down to Stevenson vs. Chicago on MNF.

Power Rankings - Week Seven

1. PJ (4-2)

This guy has three WR1s and three RB1s, with Mahomes to boot and Kittle warming up. Scary. 🎃

2. Pangy (5-1)

Pangy’s roster doesn’t strike fear into me like PJ’s, but my guy just keeps winning. Pangy’s three-headed RB monster of Stevenson, Chubb and Mixon is stong, hard to imagine weeks where two out of three don’t go off. I’m excited to see Amon-Ra back out there after a bye week and hopefully 100%.

3. Matt (4-2)

Ekeler started the season pretty quiet, now he’s RB1, damn. Chase also returns to form - Seif’s getting stronger. IDK if he did any draft prepping with Thomas, but the investment in young talent has been a trend for Seif, and it’s been paying off this year for sure, ie. Breece Hall and Chris Olave.

4. Andy (4-2)

Wanted to mention again that Andy is zero-dollar broke, lol, I love it, it’s so Andy. Lots of rock solid guys on this team, I’m a little curious why he went all in. Especially with the two new additions, Ayuik and Drake, rocking the bench today.

5. Tony (3-3)

Tony has the most intriguing team for me - what can backs Najee and Montgomery provide? Can Pittman and Cooper be consistent? Other total-question-marks: Juju, Singletary, Samuel and Dillon

6. Joel (3-3)

Hurts and the Eagles keep rolling, has to be the calling card for Joel’s team this year. I love Joel rolling with Tua in his comeback week to fill in on Hurt’s bye, very spicy. What will CMC in SF mean for his value? Gotta be more TD’s at least (you know… like we all do… if he stays healthy).

7. Chris (3-3)

Zeke puts up his first 15 point game of the year, that’s a good sign. Godwin and Lenny look great for Tampa, despite the Bucs only at 3-3. Good time to get JT and Tee back at 100% - this team’s trending the right direction.

8. Neil (2-4)

Neil’s had an interesting few weeks, moving from Kelce to Jefferson and now to Barkley. Got the big win last week to get out of the cellar, how will this last move pay off? What Dak will we get the rest of the year? Same question for Pitts. Also, will Claypool go to a better fantasy situation if dealt?

9. Jake (2-4)

Rondale Moore sucks, off to a terrible start in by tough week without Kupp and Jefferson. With Barkley now on Neil’s roster and Swift out, I got question marks everywhere at RB. Goes all in with Pacheo on Sunday morning, let’s see how that goes. 😬 Oh it should be fun to root for Lamar now too.

💩 Kris (1-5)

This Sunday marks the first Sunday of all time that Kris didn’t complain about the league rules! But for real, Kris needs a W and has a good chance this week, putting together a pretty good roster considering all the byes and injuries.

Good luck this week everyone besides CJ! - 🐍

I’m just here so I won’t get fined - Marshawn Lynch

I’m from the Bay area, but when I look around the stands and I see these mother fuckers, these stands, weren’t full like we were here, that shit kind of have me on tilt. I ain’t feeling that. If this is California Bear football, they need to start filling up this stadium. - Also Marshawn Lynch on ESPN yesterday

IMAGE OF MARSHAWN - Maybe grabbing his nuts, maybe stiff arming someone, maybe driving a cart, I’m sure you can picture something.
